Add a Diecut at The Ribbon Girl

Hello Everyone,

I'm still having a fun time over in Florida, yippeeeeeee, another week to go.

My card today is for The Ribbon Girl Magnolia challenge which is "Add a Diecut".  Aren't I lucky, I chose to use my two newest dies from Noor Design sold right here in the UK at Crafts U Love.  I have used the border die and the rectangle frame.  Love all the filagree on these.

So what yummy goodies do I have on here from the Ribbon Girl, let's see......

Yummy Vintage cotton lace and Pink braid, love this Trim.  A little trowel charm bronze l tied with some twine and laid upon the little open envelope made from Michelle Roos Autumn Fall Vintage Digital Papers, love this set.

I have also used the fabulous 8mm pearls.

Maya Journal Book

Hello Everyone,

Well I should be well and truly settled on my holiday in Florida with the family and having fun, fun, fun.

To keep you all inspired I have my crafty project already for you.  This week the LLC girls are inspiring you with the new Maya Design Coffee in the Arbour papers.

I have used Delicious Moments as the paper backing this custom Journal that I will be posting when I'm in the US.  The dress has been made using the Raspberry Lemonade paper.

I have added a pocket on the inside using the Raspberry Lemonade paper and for the pocket I used a sheet out of the Maya Design Vintage Basics 6x6 paper pad and added some Reinette lace.  I cut all the paper inside this journal and punched all the holes.

Here's a close up of the dress.  The lace is my favourite, Princess Grace and I have added 3 poppies to the waist.  I also used two small pieces of the Princess Grace lace, rolled up to create the sleeves.  The neckline was accented using the 3mm string beads and then placed onto a MayaRoad hanger.

The new diamante scissors were just perfect, so very elegant and the gold colour matched perfectly with these brown/cream/taupe tones.

Of course a journal wouldn't be complete without a pen right, or to be precise a ranger pen nib or two added to the centres of the butterflies.  Speaking of which I didn't have the exact colour to match the poppies, so I used my copic airbrush and the BG11 to spray them.

I also added brown and cream frosted berries together, don't they look cool.

Lots of different laces and trims were added to the rings, all links can be seen below.

In Love with Pion Design

Hi Everyone,

Last post before my holiday, yayyyy getting excited, although still lots to get done but no more weekends left, yikes, although Hubby still doesn't have a passport so I could be leaving him behind, lol, bless.

Soooooooo onto today's card and the girls this week will be showing you the new Pion Design collection of papers, oh my goodness they are sooooooo yummy, I am totally in love with this collection.

The image is the latest release from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps, isn't she a darling.

O.K. so the papers, yeah, I  have used Pion Design My Precious Daughter 12x12 Anemone, Alma's Dress and Borders.  Scrummy indeed :)

I cut the gorgeous butterflies out from the border sheet and added a little gesso.  I have positioned a little resin fairy sitting on another border cut from the border sheet, well she is in the garden afterall.

The beaded berries were just perfect for this card and accompanied by a few more flowers in the garden, lily, poppy, rose buds, 20mm rose, 30mm wild rose, kort and godt curly rose and flower spray.

Just about in the picture at the top is a little birdhouse charm attached with some twine and Moulin Rouge lace.

Almost forgot, a little frantage of chunky white around the image.

The text was also cut from the border sheet.

The fence is from the latest Noor Design die release, very intricate.

The border die to the left is also from Noor Design's latest release.
