Loaded Stocking

Hello Crafters,

I haved had so much fun decorating one of the Canvas stockings this week.  I have used papers, tags and images from Pion Design's The Night Before Christmas collection. It looks so much better in real life :)

As you can see I made a pocket and filled with a lollipop cards, tags, pin wheel and candy canes.  I also made a pocket at the back of the stocking in the stocking top and filled with more tags and candy canes so the stocking when hung will always look like it's full of goodies even when the canvas stocking itself is empty.

Here's a close up of the middle section.  I have added wax cord around the images and added a rusty snowflake to the right of the little boy with a stocking in his hand, thought this image was very apt.

I used half of one of the Baulbles to make this shaker lollipop card and added Viva Decor Ice Crystals and Vintage Seam Binding.

Here you can see the pinwheel, another half bauble used to make a second shaker lollipop card.  I added one of the Rhinestone Snowflakes to the centre and more Viva Decor Ice Crystals, tied with shabby white rusty bells, seam binding and wax cord.

Here's the Stocking when you remove all of the decorations.  I used Lace Grace to made a bow at the top left, I added a handmade poinsettia using the Fabulous Foamiran, lots of tulle and Lace Christelle, I also lined the outside and toe using the double row pearls.  You can see the papers better in this photo too, all links at the bottom.

Here is you can see the cluster of Foamiran Poinsettias with Glistening Gold berries in the centres, swirly holly using the Find It Trading Die set, draped with Pearl Cascade in Gold, pine cones, srapiniec sprigs and shabby white sprigs.

The little Shopping List from Santa was taken from the    sheet.

Here it is hanging on the Fireplace ready for Santa to fill it with goodies.

Hope you like it.
Hugs Tracy x

Fabulous! So much work, so much detail, but so so worth it. Love the idea of the packet inside the back. Judy x
